The solo reminds me of Skinny Leonard. The chords in the verses reminded me a lot of Boston.

Really liked the riff based chorus.

Probably the best hard rock use of BB I recall hearing.

Nice work.

I could have been listening to Bryan Adams here.

Great driving rock beat. Plenty to like about this song.

Great write, vocal and signature TA production to top it all off.

Tom,

A great original sound! I really love the way this one feels - the vocal is outstanding and the band is tight. Excellent all around!

Hi Tom,

Nearly missed this one!

It's great to see more people rocking on the forum these days and rock doesn't
come much better than this.

Fabulous guitars, especially the solo.

Your vocals just get better and better - you've really got a great voice for this
type of track.

Classic Rock through and through.

Hello, Tom

Great Rock tune! Big fun!
I entirely agree with Greg.
This sounds like a 70's classic.
Great groove.
Love the power chords and great solo.
And also your vocals.
Splendid!

All the best for 2018!

Tom,

What an outstanding track. When it comes to rock it's one of the genres that you really excel at.

I apologise for missing this the first time through. It zipped past me and I wasn't even aware that it'd had been on the forum.

This song is such a fine tribute to your production chops, your singing chops, your arranging chops, and instrumental chops.

Excellent.

Regards,
Noel

"tommyad"...

(From the latest headlines, hot off our presses:) "Extra, extra, read all about it! Armada of killer guitars from outer space land on Earth, bringing message of "louder is better", and proceed to blow out our eardrums! See fleeing crowds popped upside the head by perilously potent power chords! Watch rockers being run down by hair-raisingly righteous riffs! President declares state-of-emergency in his pajamas while playing air guitar and lip-syncing in the Oval Office! Could this be "the end", friends crazy ???

Really dug your lyric imagery: "I always look to the sky like a sailor to the sea", and "...like rain moving across the bay", and "boundaries blurred by the path of light". Like, far-freakin'-out, dude laugh !!!

If this is rock, it's certainly "hard" as one, baby!

Off the hook, "tommyad"!

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
