I opened up BIAB and checked the number of real tracks. I believe that the number should be RT 300. Style picker only shows up to RT 297. It looks like I am short 3 styles. TRUE?
How do I verify that I have the 2018 Bonus 49PAK (49PAK-I)?
Why does the Style Picker show 4 RT 297 each with a different GENRES NAME
Apologies, I should have explained myself more fully...
Stylepicker only shows styles and includes the information that identifies where those styles came from.
If a set of Realtracks, did not have any styles included with it, then there won't be any styles listed for that set. This appears to be the case for RT sets 298, 299, 300 (i.e. they did not contain styles).
See the upper image below which shows Stylepicker sorted by Set # and there are no styles listed past Set 287.
To find out if you have RT sets 298-300, open Realtrack Picker. To do this...
1. Right click on one of the instrumental tracks in the mixer.
3. Click on the header label "Set" so that the list is sorted by set number. If you cannot see all the numbers, hold the mouse cursor over the vertical line between 'Set' and 'Stereo' and drag the column to the right to expand the view.
4. Scroll down the list to see if it includes Set 300. (This is the lower image below.)
Regarding the Bonus 49 Pak, find something that is unique to that Pak and have a look to see if it's installed using Realtrack Picker or Realdrum Picker.
The below URL gives a breakdown of what the 2018 bonus paks include.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
