Up to now, I have not been able to find the guitar tabs in the notation mode...
(BiaB 2018, version 509)
Which songs are concerned and how do I set BiaB to show them?
Bernard

Bernard,

If you want the guitar tracks to show tab, you need to activate it in the Notation Mode options. See the image below.

Regards,
Noel

Hey Bernard,

When selecting your RT, if you want good tab, make sure the "chart" column contains the letters "Gt" (see attached).

Thanks Noel, it is as "simple as that!"
Small problem, when ticking the "Tab", I get the following message "An invalid Note string was typed"... It seems, however, that the tick remained, when opening the option screen again.
Thanks Deaconblues09 for the addition of how to look for the songs with tabs.
Unfortunately, (Bernard, you are a real looser!!!) I do not get the screen you joined... OK, I have it now, I first mistook your attachment as the Style Picker and realised it was the RTs Picker.
In the end, thanks to both, I get the tabs and may continue to "have fun"

Band-in-a-Box® 2018 for Mac - Importing MIDI Files

Did you know that Standard MIDI files can be read in to the Melodist or Soloist track within Band-in-a-Box? You can use all of the MIDI File, or select channels or a specific range of bars, using these steps:
1. Melody | Import Melody from MIDI File to select a MIDI file from disk using the file dialog.
2. Melody | Import Melody from Clipboard - when the MIDI data is already copied from another program to the
clipboard.

A new window will open, asking for additional criteria - which channels, # of bars to offset..., # of bars to import, include lyrics, include patch changes - and more! Head to our online manual Chapter 10: Working with MIDI to learn more!
