2017 User Showcase Awards.... Congratulations to....

Over the past year (2017), we’ve had over 1,050 new original compositions posted to the User Showcase. Wow! Now over 6,000 songs in the Showcase! Many thanks to all that have contributed. There were contributions from 139 different people during the year. From 25 countries!.. Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jersey Channel Is., Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Romania, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States of America,
We’d like to thank and recognize these amazing contributions that people have made!
So we announce the "Top 40" User Showcase Awards...to the top 41 contributors of 2017 – a free Band-in-a-Box 2018 UltraPAK for Windows (including the 49 PAK bonus)
We’ve reviewed the contributions from Jan 1 to Dec 31, 2017, and have based the results on a combination of the following criteria:
- great compositions/arrangements/productions
- use lots of Band-in-a-Box or RealBand (RealTracks or MIDI)
- most contributions
- other contribution to the forum (songwriting tips etc.)
- haven't won before (not an absolute requirement)
- haven't already got a free version from beta testing etc.

If you've already purchased 2018, we will refund your purchase price. If you already have BB 2018 via another means (beta testing etc.), then you can designate "someone else" to receive it (just send that info privately in your email).
If you're a Mac user, you can either get 2017 UltraPak or request a raincheck for the 2018 Mac UltraPak when it comes out.

This continues to AMAZE me.
What other company would DO this? Like having the community of this forum isn't reward enough? Like having this MAGICAL product to realize the best potential of our music isn't enough? To have the people who "keep it going" and keep it energized "recognized" in this way is mind-boggling.

I see this has already been quoted once, I have a feeling it will be again before this is over  EDIT: p.s.p.s. I also have a nasty suspicion that the only reason I made the cut is because that adds such an obscure country to your bragging list - and I'm the only one from it who's active on here!

I seriously doubt there is a more generous, rewarding and honorable company in any retail business. I did not expect to be doing this today, and I can honestly say, I was completely flabbergasted when I realized I was included in this list. I want to thank each and every person even remotely connected to this fabulous software, with all my heart. BIAB & RB has enabled many, many musicians of all skill sets, to hear in real time, what they can hear in their heart and minds. We deeply appreciate the honor and what PG Music has brought into our lives. Six years ago we never dreamed we would ever write and record music again. The passing of our friend and mentor Randy Howard and subsequently leaving our band had taken away our music making desire. But we continued to listen to and enjoy many musical genres. We switched from a PC to a Mac and it came with a DAW....hmmmm...I explored it out of curiosity, googled it a bit and ran across mention of BiaB. So now in addition to our love of the outdoors we have this wonderful product that has led us on a musical journey we never dreamed of. And that journey includes making forum friends that have become much more than virtual "net friends."
Customer service and satisfaction are easy words to say. Meeting those expectations is something that relative few companies do well. Dr. Gannon and staff present an example of what can be done when the focus is genuinely not only on a great product but also on those individuals who use that product.

Thank you PG Music for your generosity. I am really honored to be included in the award list. BIAB has given me really much joy as a songwriter. I published almost 40 songs last year with BIAB arrangement. And not joy for me only: last year it gave me also opportunity for intensive collaboration. I arranged several songs with BIAB for Miira and one of them (introduced on this forum Letters To Johny) got an honorable mention in the SongDoor songwriting competition, I believe that the BIAB arrangement gave that song an extra push. Congratulation to other winners and thanks to all amazing showcase forum contributors for your music and feedback. Janne

I look at today and I can consider the great musical improve I have had. My compositions give me great satisfaction and fun. BiaB is absolutely irreplaceable (and I don't look for other programs anymore Compliments to all the winners, a great group of people. I am just sorry regret that we can communicate via pc. Thank you very much for giving me this great honor. I am very happy to be included in the list of the winners together with other outstanding artists. I am encouraged and motivated a lot to continue my music creation work and share its outcome with the forum members including the PG stuffs. They are all excellent artists as well as appreciative listeners.
BIAB is my best partner, tutor, helper as well as Shelpa in my music creation journey. It took me to the foot of the high mountain and helped me try climbing up for the summit. Without it, I could just look it up from far away. I want to empress my gratitude to all those who are/were invloved in the development of this incredible application software.

I find it hard to come up with the words to adequately express my gratitude to Dr. Gannon and the staff of PG Music for their generosity. This past year was a tough one for me, so finding out about this award really made my day! I am humbled by everyone's kindness here. This forum is one of the friendliest groups of people in the world. I'm sure most of you would agree that this group is like an extended family to one another. I appreciate all the kindness that flows like a river through this place! Not to mention all the talent that is at work around here (and it just keeps getting better and better)!
