Just installed build 512 to BIAB 2018. When I play a RB style, I see the file curser move as if playing, but no sound. Then about a minute later, it plays. When it plays, I cant stop it. After I hit "stop", it takes about a minute to stop playing.
Anyone else having this?

Two things: 1: Glad you got it running again. 2: Thanks for letting us know the cause of your issue. Helps others in future also.

There seems to be a problem with the WAS Driver after loading the Build #512 Update. WAS driver was working OK with prior Build #508 though! After I loaded #512, I measured that it took around 30 seconds to hear any sound after the note was played. This is on Windows 10, Build 1709 (Fall Creator). I'm using the internal Realtek sound system. Switched to MME Driver, no problem (other than the usual millisecond latency associated with MME). Also tried the ASIOFORALL Driver, and that is working OK as well.
Guess I'll sent an email to PG Tech Support. I'd call them, but I've had no lucking getting thru on the phone to a real live person for the last month or two.

Hi Guys,
I'm running into the same issue with WAS. I'll do a bit more testing and then make sure it gets reported.
Thanks Kent PG Music

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
