Hi Scott,
Glad you liked it.
It's the first time I've used that particular sax RT.
I still can't get used to having sax playing of that standard available on tap.
Thanks for the listen.
Cheers, ROG.

Hi Josie,
So pleased to get a review from you again.
Glad you liked the bass - it's very 1950s. Rock-a-Billy is such fun and it's even better
when you play it live. The Sonny Burgess band was just full of energy, even when he was
in his 80s. Back in the 1950s he was known as the "Wild Man Of Arkansaw".
Many thanks for looking in.

Cheers, ROG.

This is what a standout late 50’s rockabilly band would sound like if they’d had today’s production technology. And we thank you for the opportunity to experience that.

Pure joy!

Hi there you two,
I've always loved Rock-a-Billy and Rock & Roll, so really pleased that you thought I'd captured the feel.
It's worth searching for Sonny Burgess on YouTube if you like this kind of thing.
A fabulous band for six decades!
Many thanks for the kind review.

Cheers, ROG.

Cool! Among other nice bits, I love the sound that you got out of the drums.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Hi Tom,
Thanks for that - always value your opinion.
I can't believe just how good those sax RTs are!
And less temperamental than a lot of the sax players I've worked
with in the past.
Cheers, ROG.

Great job, and thanks for sharing smile

Hi Deryk,
Many thanks for all the nice comments.
Playing Rock-a-Billy live is a great experience and, yes, it does fill the dance floor
like nothing else.

ROG,

From start to finish, my feet were tapping, my fingers were tapping and I was singing along with you. The sound is incredible.... rich, big and bold and overflowing with quality! Your productions are always first class. This one, though, left me speechless.

Really, really enjoyable in every way!

All the best,
Noel

Good one ROG.

Sounds like the old 78's from my teenage years in the 50's.
Recreates the era beautifully for me.
Thumbs up.
