Pretty cool, Robert! As always, very interesting lyrics. I've been a Science Fiction fan since I was a kid, so I enjoyed the subject matter too.
And I probably mentioned this before, I love the way you make full use of the stereo spectrum in your mixes! Sounds great through the phones. Very cool the way you handled the vocals during the chorus also.
Good one, enjoyed the listen!

Robert,
I love this - my absolute new favorite from you. The arrangement and vocal are perfect...
Some tremendous lines as well:
"this ain`t no time for your one man show there`s no king here everybody`s gotta row"
WOW!

Really liked how you introduced the track musically, starting out basic and simple, then gradually adding elements and color..well done! Thought your imagery of a galactic “rowboat” was excellent and creative..great work, and good to know that you aren’t really ready to pack it in!

Very nice work! I really enjoyed the slow progression on this tune - it definitely caught me off guard. And as always, your vocal delivery is spot on. Your deep vocals work particularly well with the instrumental narrative of this song. Great work and thanks for sharing
Cheers, Deryk

I really enjoyed the song, and I loved how starry the album art was! I think you did a really great job with this song, and I especially loved the lyrics. It has such an interesting subject matter.

Thanks for those positive comments, Dave! I used to read Sci-fi too - now the tv series & movies have taken over. The stereo effect on the spacey sounds was something I found in Reaper ( ReaSurround I think its called - you can move the track across the spectrum in real time, which is new to me). Robert Robert,

Bob Bob, The "one man show" line is where I started with this... its something my wife likes to say about me! I appreciate your kind comments. Robert

Very nice song, I like especially the apocalyptic lyrics with a positive attitude and the acoustic band supports it well, has traveling by old steam boat/train feel - maybe that space loop brings some calliope sound to the song.

An excellent song.
Good write. Good arrangement - really liked the way you brought the accordion in. Good use of the BAND all around. Good vocal. Good mix.
What more is there to say?
Good.

Robert this is really good! I like the way your inter-weaved a folk background and sci-fi together. Good lyrics and vocal together with a great mix makes this a winner.
Two thumbs up.
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Hello, Robert
The finger picking of the guitar has a wonderful taste on this tune. The characteristics of your melody are outstanding. These folky songs are perfect for you, and your vocals are also very pleasant. Your Loop selection is very effective as usual. Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best regards.

The future is here...now.
"Consultate of Doom..." makes me look out the window!
Very well done Robert. The track build throughout and your vocal performance really set up the lyric. Very textured.
The soundstage is excellent on our monitors -- never use cans.
Folk meets the future...how cool is that?!
Most enjoyable.

Janne Janne, You summed up my intention in writing the song. The accordion gave it a jaunty, carefree feeling that I really like. Thanks for listening and commenting. Robert

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
