Scott, this is a fun song to listen to. I enjoy the way you used the background vocals behind the guitar. By the way, that is a nice looking guitar icon you have on SoundCloud!

Scott,
A good listen. Enjoyed it.
Nice background choices and a good mix. A pleasant melody, nice playing...
fj Thanks Floyd for checking out the song. Glad you liked it Fantastic work with the the choir and guitars! I found this very easy to listen to. Great progression too. Well done! Thanks Joe.It is amazing how well done the vocal real tracks are done. They seem just to drop in and sound so good... Hello, Scott
This is a very peaceful tune. As Robert said, very mysterious and delicate. And I agree with Bob. I also love the fragility of this song. Very beautiful and moving... Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best regards.
Shigeki Adachi Thanks Shigeki Really glad you like the song. Thanks for checking it out Scott - a lovely use of a wonderful guitar & amp combo. Lots of space in the arrangement for the guitar melody. Would you explain you amp/mic set up please? Thanks Rayc for checking out the song. I use a usb mic for recording. I get a bit of latency with it. I use Reaper to adjust the timing to the backtrack. The amp I used for this song is a late 60's hand wired Garnet Sessionman...

I thoroughly enjoyed this I love how gentle and fragile this sounds. It is almost lullaby-esque, but the guitars and pulsing beat behind it really push it to be much more. The way the guitar works with those quiet choirs in the background gives it an otherworldly quality. Great work - thanks for sharing!
Cheers, Deryk

We agree with those who mentioned the cinematic qualities. It has a flow that would seem to work well for a lof of film or tv as it brings up lots of different images to us.
Beyond all that it's simply a nice, well performed and thoroughly pleasing production.
Glad you didn't abandon it!
J&B Thanks so much Janice and Bud for the awesome comments. After it was completed I did feel ok about the song. Will put it in the daily jam rotation.

Very smooth melody, so soothing. The mix is superb as well. Love the vocal harmony in the background. I can listen to this before I go to sleep.

Wow Scott,
I never heard a Gretsch guitar being used this way (or maybe I missed something, thought it was a typical Rock'n Roll guitar).
BEAUTIFUL!

Scott, this is a fun song to listen to. I enjoy the way you used the background vocals behind the guitar. By the way, that is a nice looking guitar icon you have on SoundCloud! Thanks Jim for checking out the song and commenting. The new ohhs and ahhs tracks are so well done. There is definitely some secret sauce in how BIAB developers get them to works so well. Thanks for the comment on the guitar icon on soundcloud. This Gretsch has become a favorite of late.

Rob Thanks Rob This is a small body Gretsch similar to the one George Harrison used during the early years of the Beatles. The Duojet has a very unique sound. Pretty song Scott! The chord structure is really good as well your tone! Thanks, Torrey Thanks Torrey Glad you liked the song

Hi Scott. Lovely tune and melody. Really nice guitar work.
I personally didn't care for the backing oos. Maybe try substituting a horn pad or something. And have the pad drop out at times.
But I like the tune and everything you've done with the guitar.
Peace,
Ian

Very mellow! I'm not used to hearing such "structured" playing from a lead guitar.

Scott you made me smile with the behind the scenes title story. Lovely tone and expression in your playing and melody on top of a really nice arrangement with the ethereal bgvs.

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
