One day, while staring at my desk, searching for something new and different to compose, I decided to use the items on my desk as the rhythm section for this track. The title means "desk".

The "rhythm" instruments are: rosary beads, jangling coins, flipping business cards, a hotel desk bell, tapping the edge of my desk, scraping my fingernail against a box, 'popping' a coffee mug with my palm, open/close scissors.

Hi Tano Music,
Interesting the how the song carries well through to the end, with the office equipment as a percussion. Solo works. Original for sure. I liked it.

Really well done, Tano! I love how quirky and abstract this is. Reminds me of something I'd hear on a krautrock record from the early 70's. The percussion here is outstanding and really gives it a strange but endearing pulse.

You made for a really good listen here - thanks for sharing smile

I really enjoyed this song. I liked the almost 'bubble, pop' sound you had going. Made it very funky sounding. Really enjoyed it. A coffee mug! Who knew. Thanks for sharing!

Loved this song. Very creative. Reminds me of kids on the corner starting a beat on a plastic pail and other joining in on various instruments. Sounds great and some very visual things going on. Guitar was very cool

Tano,

Incredibly creative work! I can hear all the items you mention and what a wonderful job you do using those disparate sounds to create cohesion and a backdrop for the song. Very slick.

All the best,

Deej

So talented, I would have a lot of garbage coming out of that and you make a masterpiece. Love it. Also, I hit like on the Soundcloud track, because I like it.!!!!

Hmm, Tano, very interesting piece. I imagine this been in some kind of documentary or something like that.

Hello, Tom

The office equipment percussions are very nice and cool.
The bass riff is wonderful.
The melodies played by various instruments are also wonderful.
And your desk is very colorful.
In comparison with yours, my desk seems to be a black and white photograph.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
