This is a fictional story about a 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard Burst with PAF humbucking Pickups. The '59 is the most sought after electric guitar in the world, very expensive , the cheapest would be close to 100,000, average around 250,000 I would have to work 2 jobs to afford one HA. I am preaching to the choir to most players here, but, for those who aren't as familiar, you need this info to understand the song. The first PAF , Patent applied for, a tag that was on the bottom of most pickups at the time, humbucker pickup was installed on a Les Paul in 1957, they were all gold top in color, in 1958, some became sunburst in color, in '59 they were sunburst and flame top, showing the maple design, the last year of the originals was in 1960. They were not popular with guitarists at the time, Fender Strats were outselling them big time. After Eric Clapton, and other big names began buying and playing the Les Pauls, everyone wanted them again. Gibson began production on them in 1968, still going. The replica guitars of the original are called r8 for the replica 1958, r9 for the '59 and r0 for the '60. These can go from 4000 to 10000 depending on how accurate the detail of the guitar. Per Cliff, enjoy

Great to see Les getting some of the kudo's that he deserves for creating a whole new dimension in music! And what a great way to deliver the message..and your personal reflections.
THe track was very easy on the ears, with highly professional playing.

And thanks for educating me on the finer points of the pick-up's, etc.
Thanks for sharing this!

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
