It would be really appreciated if, in a new version (or an update of 2018), the status of the MASTER VOLUME in RealBand could be saved with each song. All other areas of the mixer are saved, why not the Master Volume. When I render a Realband song to a .WAV file, I need to keep paper trace of each song and write the number for the Master Volume that I rendered it at in case I need to come back and readjust the volume. It's terrible!!
Serge, My experience is that one of the master volumes saves per song and the other does not (it remains a universal setting). Knowing this I can usually get the response I want/expect. Personally I never move the master slider located between the tracks and the outputs (#1 in image below), but rather make adjustments on the Audio Out master (#2 in image below), as these do save per song. At least for me. Hope that helps
Make your sound your own! .. I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
Never thought about that, thank you, I will try it. But I have an EQ and a compressor on that output, will that change the amount of FX applied to the output? For example, if I bring the Vol down to 50%, will I have less of the EQ on the tracks? If the answer is yes, then each song will sound differently... which is not good obviously.
If all of the faders on the right could be sub groups then that MASTER ALL knob would make sense however oneof the faders has to be the MASTER OUT so the ALL knob is useless.Leave it full as Rharv said. That knob was his idea. All his fault
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
