Hey guys, while the drum kits are generally very well recorded, it would be wonderful to have independent control over the various microphone inputs. Honestly, I'd be perfectly happy with control over just the kick drum and the snare, with all other drums and cymbals residing on a third track. It's really those two inputs that benefit most from special EQ, effects, and volume control.Thank you!
Best, Warren

+1 Have a look at UJAM Virtual Drummer https://www.ujam.com/instruments/#drummer-select they are actual RealDrums recorded from actual playing, with a mixer for each level and will also work from GM midi allowing you to make custom fills, rolls and riffs.

+1 Been asked for many times. RealBand might be able to do this with RealDrums if the original drums have been recorded on separate tracks.

I really don't see why we can't have one track for every drum drum / cymbal. It would be a huge improvement on the entire BIAB package.

Okay boys. Go to the folders that have the drum *.wma files. Open one in a daw.At the end are individual drum hits etc. Used for stops and holds. Use these to make a Real Drum track. I did this for kick and snare. Then blend in with the total drum track. I only play live though.

Why is it not like that now? That would be awesome to have it built-in!

Yeah, I suggested a Sample Player for RD samples long ago. Hasn't happened yet, but ya never know.
Make your sound your own! .. I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

Rharv and I both asked for this during the first beta testing of Real Drums. The drums had been recorded as a unit.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
