Hello all
There is currently an opp in Songtradr that I would like to submit to for a public domain accordion song. My problem is that none of the accordion VST's that I have come across sound very authentic. Does anybody know of a good one? I am happy to pay.

Try out the demo of the Roland sound canvas VA, https://www.roland.com/global/products/sound_canvas_va/I got good enough accordion results with the 32 bit version of it, in a song, but that version no longer works on 64 bit windows whereas the above va version will, though rather a hefty price tag though, but you might get what you want with the demo trial. One warning though, if you set it as default in biab, and then close biab, it will crash biab when you restart it, a conflict between the sound canvas va trial nag screen and biab splash screen it seems, so better to choose a different default synth in biab before you close it. Hope you get the right sound whatever you go for Joanne

I have had serviceable use of a ships organ soundfont.
If the song must feature authentic accordion playing then it’s time to hire someone.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
