Hi Callie. I was wondering what Synth is used to generate the midi tracks in the demo? Is one Synth chosen and all sounds generated from the one source or are multiple Synths used? They sound pretty good. Thanks.
It would be nice if you could provide us information about the 40 unreleased real tracks before I plunk down an extra $20 USD on the full package.
There is a 100% certainty that I will purchase the full package but why was this information not put on the website before the offer was made public. If not the demos, at lest some text verbiage for us to go over...or am I just missing where it is located on the website.

From development: All demos were rendered using the default Coyote WT synth that comes with Band-in-a-Box. All of the MIDI styles made in Xtra Styles PAK 5 use the default synthesizer, none of them use Hi-Q patches. These styles were made this way so that their production is consistent across all installations of Band-in-a-Box, whether the user has Hi-Q patches installed or not.

I just opened up BIAB and filtered on "Chose and Show User Category" in the style picker and I see that Xtra Styles 5 already shows up as a choice. However there are no styles matching those on my computer so that leads me to the following.
Was the Xtra Styles listing added in the last update (Build 520) in anticipation of today's offer?
Since I ordered the 49 PAK back in December with my upgrade, it would appear that I do not need the $20 add-on for the previously unreleased realtracks since I should already have them.
Thanks for the clarification before I spent the extra money for what was already included in the December offer.

All patches we release include support for the latest styles, so you're right - if you have Build 520 you will see XSP 5 show up as a choice.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
