Alan and Di,  What a wonderful power ballad. As I sat hear listening, I found myself being very moved by your singing, your arrangement, your music and words. Irrespective of your caveats  it's a fine song. I would not think anything more or less than the guitar as is would be better. It fits very well. And your vocal chops are packed with soul and that's always what counts in our book. Big sounding and well done! J&B

With gratitude, Noel Noel, What does one say after such a wonderful review? A sincere and heartfelt "Thank You" is what comes to mind. Above and beyond your kind words, you certainly make my years of music "dabling" seem worthwhile. As soon as that opening piano riff finished, as I was putting this together, I knew I had a "Big" song somewhere in the making - big, as in powerful. It's one I worked pretty hard at as i was restructuring it. Of I could find a "big" female voice to sing this, it would be the perfect topping for the music tracks. Until then - you're stuck with me! J&B Janice & Bud, Thank you so very much! i think you're right about not adding much more to it. the only exception is, perhaps, bringing the strings a little more forward on the choruses. Very dramatic ballad!
A minor part and a major part are delicately combined, and It definitely raises the hearts of the listeners.
I think it is an exquisite composition technique.
Not only your guitar but also your vocal are great.
