Had this melody floating around my vacant head for a few days so I thought I'd do something about it.
I picked one of the rare quiet moments today and recorded the melody
I tried a number of different styles and decided it needed a Latin feel to it.
Rather than the bolero piano I used pop solo, which had much more flow to it. Also used dreamy guitars rather than the standard latin ones. For extra depth I added full orchestra strings from reason 10.
Hope it's to your liking ?

It's lovely but I find the bossa drums a little odd in this setting.
That's just me and my headphones I fear.

Cheers

What a tune Graham! Absolutely love the production on this. It sounds lush, and really gorgeous. The layering is magnificent, and that subtle bossa groove helps the entire thing float along perfectly.

You should be proud of this one - thanks for sharing smile

Hi Graham, what a marvelous song! The arrangement is wonderful to the ears and very soothing to hear. Great tone with the guitar and adding the piano to this is a nice touch. Well done! smile

Nice and lush...

We always enjoy it when members take seemingly disparate RT/RD's make them work together. Good job!

And as always we much enjoyed your performance.

Hi, Graham !:))

Wonderfully beautiful tune
you´ve written !
Does it sound a little Italian ?
It´s a tune that you want
to dance to on a moonlit
night with your loved one
in your arms !!! Just great !!!

Cheers

Very nice melody and production. I concur with Dani. I was thinking the same thing as I was listening--dancing with someone at some Italian locale.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
