Peter, It's a lovely song and the guitar parts you've added fit it well. I'd have love an little more emotion in the vocal and, I'm old fashioned in this, I prefer the drums to be a tidy stereo image. Excellent writing and good performances.

Yeah, now you're talking!! Loved this from start to finish, just one of those songs that hold your attention the whole way through.
Excellent writing and the vocals sound good to me.
Guitar work is stellar, and loved the outro solo.
Mix sounds good too.
Great work Peter and Leon!

Wow - right from the first 10 seconds I knew I'd be enjoying this It flows smooth as butter, and I love the chord progressions. It's definitely an earworm, in the subtlest way though. The harmonies on the chorus are flawless. You should be proud of this one - thanks for sharing!
Cheers, Deryk

Peter & Leon,
A knock-out.
Excellent write. Good development from verse 1 to verse 2. Nice prosody throughout. Very well penned.
Good production/arrangement. Really good mix. Super drum sound, punchy bass, balanced guitars. Super leads...
Solid vocal and harmonies.
Everything about this works. One of your best!

Excellent blues, decades ago I would have considered buying the whole album based on this single The chord progression in the chorus is simply beautiful and it's highlighted by the nice harmonies. I really like the intimate feeling mix. Great guitar playing. Janne

The title of the song and some of the lyrics reminded me a pinch of Come What May from the movie Moulin Rouge, but they're very different creatures and I enjoyed this all the same!
Thanks for sharing.

"Don’t believe everything you hear Fair-weather friends who have your ear They say they’re offering a cure Their motives may not be so pure"
There is a ton of truth packed in the opening lines. And all the lines that follow are excellent.
The vocals are delivered with just the right and slight touch of melancholy although the overall all feel is positive - for us that makes it even more thought provoking.
The guitar work is sublime and soooo tasteful. The outro is a classic!
And the production package is excellent.
Kudos to the team!!!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
