Here is one in response to Herb's Covid-19 song-writing challenge.
The lyrics were written by the wonderful and prolific Liz Petty. The images came from people all over the world staying safe.
Lyrics: sheltering from the storm staying safe in place making time for wonder slowing down the pace
looking in your eyes seeing love in your face navigating changes with peace truth, and grace
PC I am here with you I am here have no fear
C let me be a harbor you can be a guiding light together we will weather dark days and stormy nights
love will help us through and love will always win shelter in a harbor that hearts stay safe... safe within
V2 protecting one another finding strength inside taking time for laughter helping love spread wide
listening to your thoughts feeling tears you’ve cried exploring realities with love... on our side

This is your best so far at least of them I´ve heard from you ! It is my favourite of yours not only because of the message but also of the musical excellence !
I agree with floyd. Nice song. Good message. Good BAND. Nice vocals. An excellent mix. Nice use of Loop in Song: House-Techno-Trance\House. Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Wow! What a great song! It's perfect for the times we are in; but can expand beyond that.
The feel is so needed right now. The song itself oozes that; and the video put it over the top!
By the way, I always feel there is something slightly abba-ish about your harmonies. If you knew how much I like there vocals, you would know what a big compliment that is.
If you don't mind me asking; how long does it take you to put videos together? I like that you add them as you can. I have just found that so time consuming. It's always easy to watch what someone has done to a song and take for granted the work that goes into the video side.
I will admit, I've pulled away from social media and TV to some extent. This is a serious situation, and I do keep educated; but limit the "doom and gloom" thinking. Thank you so very much for posting this...and taking the time the whole package together. This song was a great way to start my morning.
Chad (Hope that makes it easier)

Hi James, Herb, Floyd, Dani, Robert, Shigeki Adachi and Peter
Thanks all for listening and commenting and lifting my spirits in these tough times. In South Africa, we are not even allowed to walk the dog. My West Highland Terrier, Findlay, doesn’t know what is going on. He usually gets two walks a day.
Anyway, I am one of the lucky ones who can work remotely. The company I work for has not closed down for the shutdown. I have been working remotely for almost a month now.
HTL, this particular video didn’t take me too long to make. What took a while was to get hold of all the photos! Once I had these, I used an app on my iPhone called “Quick”. It is made for GoPro and it works so well. I collated three different videos using my phone (the max video length on the iPhone app is about 1 min 20 secs) and then sent the videos to my laptop. I then just cobbled the video together and put in the audio using NCH video pad. My Youtube channel is monetized so it is worth my while to make videos.

My first post! Lovely song- lyrics and performances. Just finished your ‘First Song With Band in a Box.’ It’s great value and I am actually using Real Band for vocals for the first time too- thanks.
Nice groove and I liked the strong reverb on the vocal, worked well in my opinion. Had a good effect on me and made me want to listen again. And as always, the vocal quality is outstanding. Wish I could sing half as good as that.

That was such a nice listen! Everything about this screams :Excellent!!!". The tracks, lyric and mix are all spot on. But the vocal blew me away ... really, really terrific!
Your collaboration was a tangibly heartfelt response to 'Guitarhacker's' thoughtful, unifying songwriting challenge .
That style you used, as the younger folks here in America would say, was "da' bomb" . That strong, pounding beat provided a startling and exciting contrast to your vocal performance, which was as clear and engaging as I believe your singing always is.
Ms. Petty, your lyrics sounded inevitable, as though they were the only words that could ever have been attached to Ms. Cooper's music. Your collaboration with her must be one of the great examples of true creative empathy between two artists.
Thank you both for presenting your hopeful and reassuring musical production to the User's Forum members !!!
Truth & love,
LOREN

"Music is what feelings sound like."-- borrowed from a Cakewalk Music Creator forum member, "Mamabear".
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
