Hi All,

Here's a short folky slow jam - this is called Love You Some.

Turned on the late night radio
Lou Reed playing slow
I’ve been missing the best of you
And I wanted you to know

I’ma love you some
I’ma love you some
I’ma run and run
Cause I’ma love you some

Took a midnight drive to town
Why I just don’t know
All the stars are covered in grey
And the clouds are hanging low

I’ma love you some
I’ma love you some
I’ma run and run
Cause I’ma love you some

Turned on the morning news
Everything just blows
I’ve been drinking my coffee cold
And I wanted you to know

I’ma love you some
I’ma love you some
I’ma run and run
Cause I’ma love you some

Bob,

Good everything. Like always. The BAND, the write, the vocal, the mix.

Very "comfortable". Feels like a song that you've known for a long time - even on the first listen.

Nice.

Yes everything is great. I liked the backing tracks but your vocal and lyrics took it over the top for me.

Excellent song!

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.

Loved the intro Bob. Super vocal and lyric. Excellent mix and that guitar was a really nice touch...

That one should be on your greatest hits album. Almost an "iconic" Robert Dean sound.

Excellent.

Bob,
Yes, this is classic Robert Dean; spare production with great guitars, a repetition in the lyrics that hooks instantly ( I like the use of slang and streetwise words), and those gravelly vocals.
Very, very good!

Sparse arrangement, poetic writing, and hammers in the chorus.

Nice. smile

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Good write, Bob. Dang, that I'ma... was a great idea. It flows right to the listener and makes him a participant. It's so catchy. The kind of phrase that stays with you long after the song ends. Wonderful vocal.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Bob,
Nice easy going romantic tune! Intimate, yet rocky. Excellent performance and mix. Thank you for sharing.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
