I would like to congratulate all the winners of the PG Music Showcase Awards. Your hard work has been rewarded by a great company that has proven once again that they support and appreciate the users of their product. And a great product it is! PG Music is relentless in their pursuit of music production excellence! I for one, don't take BIAB for granted. It's a vital part of my music work flow and would struggle to be creative without this software! The Showcase song postings are getting better each year and it's due not only to the talent of all of the fine songwriters posting their material, but also due to the great product that PG Music has made available to us. Thank you, Peter Gannon and all of the PG Music team for what you do and for this gift! Let's all have a great and productive 2022. T

I came across Band in a Box by chance via the DIGITECH TRIO+ BAND CREATOR.
When I then searched the internet for Hardrock songs made with the program,
I came across this forum. Ok, I didn't find many Hardrock songs here ;-))),
but many great songs from really good musicians. In a relatively short time
I felt in good hands here and also made some contacts with great people.
Band in a Box has fundamentally changed the way I make music.
And the opportunity to present your song in front of so many top musicians is just brilliant.

I want to thank PG Music for including me in the Top 45.
Of course it's a great feeling when your own work is appreciated.
Congratulations also to all the other winners - you deserve it.
And of course a thank you to all the other great musicians here in the forum.

Many greetings
Andi ;-)

I am honored and humbled to be included in the Showcase Awards. There are many outstanding musicians in these forums.

BiaB has kept me active in music. No other software can do that IMHO.

Many thank yous to Peter and the entire PGMusic staff. You all are amazing people.

Hi Peter & The Team at PG Music,

Thanks - your generosity is much appreciated.

I am also very impressed with the 2022 version of Band In A Box and all the new Real Tracks.

I have already purchased BIAB 2022. Who do I contact regarding the refund?

Best Regards
Nigel

The product is absolutely magical!! The forum members are absolutely wonderful!! And, I don't know what I would have done with my retirement had I not discovered both of these!! It is an honor to be recognized among a group of such talented and cool people!! Again, I want to give a big shout out to my friend Floyd Jane. Floyd was the first high level writer to give me such encouragement and guidance. He has been a consistent and inspiring force on this forum forever, for which I have nicknamed him "The Godfather of the forum" or "The Chairman of the Board" (yes I know I borrowed the second one from another musical phenomenon). It is wonderful to have the presence of such a wonderful and seasoned writer, one of the best I've ever been aware of!! I also would like to thank Al David for putting out so many instrumentals that inspire me to take off from there with my own ideas! Congrats to all of you wonderful and deserving folks!! Take care. Greg

I feel like I should be donating an award to PG Music for the privilege of using their product and the enjoyment belonging to the user forum gives me, not to mention the friends I have made along the way.

Congratulations everyone!!!

While I haven't been as active in the forum for the last two or three years, I do pop in from time to time and listen.

I've heard songs from everyone in the Top 45 and you are all a really talented and very diverse bunch. You deserve this accolade!

All the very best,
Noel

Congrats to all winners! This was a difficult year for many people, but Showcase was definitely a bright and positive spot with some fantastic original compositions offered in all kinds of music genres. It had been my main musical inspiration place. Glad to be here.

Peter,
Thank you for a very generous prize and for creating this wonderful software... which is a little more than just a software smile

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
