I just DLed this but I probably wont get a chance to play with this until later this week, but I thought that I should share it ASAP. This is a free orchestra that might interest a few people here. There are Mac and PC versions. The PC version comes in either 64 or 32 bit.

I scanned the DL with Defender and Anti-Malwarebytes and no viruses or malware were found.

The following is from Bigcat:

Since its just us here and I can always be candid here... I think for free this is a nice package. The strings aren't my favorite but I think are good for layering. I'd probably go the LDK1609 violin for a solo violin instead and the Karyofer cello for a solo cello. The brass sounds generally good to me and has some mute articulations that could be useful. The woodwinds sound quite good in the middle two octaves or so, but sometimes the very end ranges are a bit off to me. There some really nice vibratos on the flute. I'm not a percussion guy, but they sound OK to me and a lot of stuff in there. The keyboards aren't bad. If you don't have an upright this give you two and the organ I kinda like.

The whole feel is chamber, so small and lots of solo instruments rather than big sections. The instruments aren't intended to be really punchy but more mellow. I put both the f and p sustains in their own articulations along with a basic sustain, so you can really go just soft if you want or get a bit more punch. One nice thing is you get a couple articulations for solo brass and woodwind that aren't common in a solo freebie. I think if you add a good reverb and tweak a bit you can get decent solos from brass and woodwinds. In listening to midis with them I did catch myself thinking 'you know that sounds quite nice'.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.
