Nice stuff - and your voice sounds like Mark Knopfler from Dire Straits...for a minute I had to look at the link again just to make sure!!!

Rick, you got me immediately with that stop about 4 bars in! And the other stop mid-way thru.
I'll renew my recommendation for you to post your lyric--it's part of your work!
Also liked the addition of the organ/horns as you approached the end.
Excellent work!

Hi Tano.
Yeah I know you always want to see the words, but I do so many songs it’s a pain to have to keep copying and pasting all the time, but I’ll do some of them if I can, here’s this ones anyway, glad you like the song, cheers mate.

I’m always on the outside (medium rock dm/am etc).

Intro (6 bars dm am bb7 etc).

Verse 1.
I remember times gone past
Situations to be iconoclast
I knew my own mind even then
I never gave in,into them

Verse 2.
Trying to put my views out
Making my point heard
Being what I am
Saying what I feel
Oh yeah.

Chorus.
I’m always on the outside looking in
I never just seem to be fitting in
I know my own mind inside out
I’m one of those with little self doubt.

Middle 8 (12 bars bb f7 c9 eb B.B. eb B.B.,g etc).

Verse 3.
It’s never easy being singled out
People like me,out on their own
Putting views forward of my own
Public opinions voice overthrown.

Repeat chorus.

Coda.
I’m always on the outside
Outside
Ooooh
On the outside.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
