“Chat PG” - AI powered BiaB documentation using natural language queries

https://www.pgmusic.com/manuals/chat/

This uses a knowledge base of the online BiaB manual. And you can query it with natural language queries. It has the BiaB 2023 for Mac and Windows full manual, as well as a some sales information

btw) It uses OpenAI “under the hood”, but is just accessed from our web page.

We are “feeding” it more documentation and answered to specific questions from the FAQ.
and other knowledge documents. It will continue to learn over time.

We could also allow interested users to submit FAQ style question/answers or just knowledge points that they want added to the database. ‘For example, now it doesn’t know how to answer what XPro vs Xtra styles is, but it would when we tell it that.
It retains a log of questions that were asked, so we’d be able to see what questions it was missing to improve it by making sure the answer is in the documentation.

It does a good job on most questions (maybe 70%), at least better than the current “search” we have that just uses Google to find web pages with key words. At least this answers a question or says “I don’t know”
chatPG enhanced!

Dr. Gannon and crew, this is a brilliant idea. It is much easier than fumbling through the manual. I like it very much.
Been away from the forums for a while, very busy with other things and I missed this. This is brilliant! I've been trying ChatGBT in my tax business and found it useless so far. All ChatGBT does is grab a few key words from a detailed real language query like best "shareholder compensation" or should I "aggregate rentals" for example and points me to the IRS publications. I'm looking for some options like you can do it this way or that way and here's the differences but no, I get ask the IRS. Hmmm, could it be...? Nah.

Here, you've restricted it to just the manual, I didn't know that was even possible. I have to check this out.

Is ChatGannonPeterTransformer currently better than the Ctrl+F on a PDF?

Anthropics' Claude 2 model allows feeding PDFs as dataset to further training an existing language based weight, works much better than OpenAI.

Would be great if ChatPeter could adopt Grok's algorithm, tagging this forum's posts as raw dataset and fine tuning a PyTorch based deep learning neural network, which will have a much higher benchmark of intelligence and quantized parameters for final inference.

Will cost money though. Either a minimum 128 GB Nvidia VRAM is required, or buying a load of CUDA compatible compute units via Google Colab.
