I was sent Real Tracks sets 146 in my mail.It says to download or call to receive the disc . Does any one know If there a charge to order the CD instead of getting through my e-mail ? Correct me if im wrong but I think the Tracks are part of my 2012 biab I bought. I tried to download the Real Tracks 146 from my mail and when it came to compleating Nortons Anti Virous protection poped up and said this program can be harmful to my computer .I tried to force the download but it would not let me do it.Then my next question is once I have the Real tracks set 146 how do I go about loading them into BIAB In the right area? Also I was wondering when I bought BIAB 2012 I was to receive a bonus pack for Free. Is that all ready in BIAB or is this apart of the update I received in the mail ?

Regards,
Greg

There was another thread here about false positives on this from virus checkers; you might try searching for it. Or, just turn off the virus checker temporarily and download. What you get are two .EXE files that you run, #1 then #2, which installs these new RealTracks for you.

I received the 20-pak+ on a DVD with the hard drive. Not sure about a separate mailing cost.

I did not receive the 10 pack on a DVD With my Hard Drive all I got was the hard drive with BIAB on it. I was suppose to get the 10 pack for free. Thanks for the info about turning the Virous checker off temporarily.I would like to get the 10 pack on DVD if I could just as a back up. What are the steps I must take to load the Real Tracks into BIAB and getting it into the right section of the program ?

Regards,
Greg

Find the .EXE you downloaded for update #1 using Windows Explorer and double click on it. Then do the same for #2. The installer will ask where the folder is that you keep your RealTracks.

You could call PG Music Sales and ask about the DVD.

The 20 pak was on DVD but the 10 pak is on the HDD in the install directory

driveletter:\PGMusic\Installers\Bonus 10 PAK

Hello Greg,

The 10PAK is on the hard drive, and not shipped on a separate disc - check the readme file in the '\installers\bonus 10 pak' folder.

Regarding the Norton message: Was it "ws.repuation.1"? Symantec has a relatively new feature called "Insight" which is part of Norton Internet Security and Norton 360. It is a reputation-based system for determining if a downloaded file is likely to be harmful or not. Files that are not commonly downloaded are more likely to be tagged as potentially harmful, and may be deleted. This is different than the traditional way of spotting malware, which is to look for specific signatures in the file.

There is a post on the Symantec forums that explains this, and has instructions for retrieving files from quarantine, and so on.
