What is the recommended / easiest way to compare chords of 2 BIAB files (beside printing out) ?

Is there a way to copy/dump out the chords as text into notepad ?

You could open two instances of BIAB and then open a file in each. This would make for easy comparison.

To do this, it might be that "Allow multiple instances of BIAB" needs to be set (it's under OPT | PREFERENCES).
