Hi,

Realdrums do load sometimes; but mainly not, with LATJZ_LH.STY Latin Jazz LH (Left-Hand comp), in BIAB 2015.
René:

In the Style Picker window, highlight LATJZ_LH.STY and then look at the large box on the right-hand side of the window under Memo.

You will see that the drums for this style are "M1 Standard Drum Kit". No RealDrums are used in this style.

If you want RealDrums, when you select that style for your song, right click on the "Drums" radio button near the top of the main BIAB screen (normally shown in yellow), and select "Add/Remove RealDrums".

That will give you a list of RealDrums to choose from.
After you choose one and close that window, the word Drums will change from yellow to green, indicating that there are RealDrums assigned.

When you save your song, the RD will be saved with it.

You can use Opt > Preferences > RealDrums to have BIAB always substitute RD for MIDI drums if that's the way you'd like to work.

Good luck!

By default, this only works for PGMusic created styles. If you want other styles (such as Norton's or those found on the web or those you create yourself) to have auto-substitution, if I remember correctly, you need to edit the "MySubs.ds" file in the BIAB folder.

Substitution control for PGMusic styles are found in "a_pgmusic.ds".

The note in the user manual says:

Technical note: The text file a_pgmusic.ds provided by PG Music controls this, and users can make other files MySubs.ds if they make their own RealDrums styles.
Ah, ok, that explanes everything. Thanks!
