I have quite a number of BIAB backing tracks which I would like to export to mp3 format. I know that I can do this one at a time, but that's a bit cumbersome, since it requires you to type in a song name to save it.

I'd like to be able to direct BIAB to a specific folder to save the mp3 files to, and simply use the same song name as the BIAB file (ie - "Song 1.sgu" becomes "Song 1.mp3", etc, etc.) for each exported song.

Is there any way to do this, either within BIAB2014 or another way?

Thanks!
2014 ??
In 2016 you can. See screenshot taken from Help.

Hey Newbert,

The above instructions are also good for the 2014 version of Band-in-a-Box. Just keep in mind that you'll need to have an ACM MP3 codec installed on your computer for Band-in-a-Box to generate MP3 files. If you don't have this software then another option is to make WAV files as a batch and use a separate conversion program like Free Audio Converter (https://www.freac.org/) which can convert your audio files in large batches. I actually use this program all the time since I like to keep my music in the highest quality at home but convert to MP3 to send/post demos and listen on the go.
