Can I have a BIAB installed external hard drive activated, registered, or authorized? If that is possible, then I can only carry around the hard drive and use run BIAB on any computer.

If you Activate Biab on your computer it will be Activated, if you plug it another it will work but be in 30 Day Trial mode.

In other words, it is the computer that is activated, not the drive.
