When I first installed BIAB 2019 the only problem I noticed at the time was that I could not audition styles in the VST. After the 607 update, I now cannot audition styles in the standalone program either, which worked fine before the update. I rolled back to 606, 604 and 602 and now auditioning does not work with any of them.

seems something to do with your audio drivers, but without more information ......

The styles play properly in the main window. The problem is limited to auditioning in the style picker. I investigated further and I can audition if I use the Play button for "Play Using Current Chordsheet for song".

What doesn't work: double-clicking the style; pressing the spacebar; clicking the green play button icon for the premade demo.

So now BIAB cannot play the WMA demo files, but it could before I updated. I can play the WMA files outside of BIAB. I updated to 607 around the same time that Windows 10 did a mandatory update, so it may not be entirely a BIAB problem.

Is the DAW using ASIO Always On, as this would not allow the audio device to be available for windows media player to play the wma demos.
The standalone should just use the default windows playback device audio device to play the wma demos.

For the purposes of troubleshooting the present problem, the DAW isn't running. I'm using just the standalone BIAB application. I don't use WMP. VLC is my default media player. When I get home later today I'll switch the default media device to WMP just to see if it makes a difference.

If you use How to Run BiabVST with Any DAW without Problems you can set the audio out to whatever you like.

Will multiriff work like this?

Hopefully the next vst release should fix
the multiriffs
and being able to select a realtrack
and being able to change a realtrack
and when you select a drum after it generates it will name track Drum and the drum name instead of Guitar and a guitar name.

Thanks for that link. The VST as a standalone plays the WMA files properly. The main program does not.

In BB ASIO Audio Driver Settings uncheck ASIO Always On.
If you are have exclusive use of the device then windows can't use it to preview the wma demos.

That option is unchecked. It didn't make a difference.

Fixed in 608.
