Hi all
2 more things I have noticed.
Cakewalk vst3
Only the music from part markers green and blue get generated.
I have a mgu that I made where for part of the song I use a third variation magenta
This has instruments not previously used in the other parts blue /green.
However these instruments don’t get rendered,As In fact the plugin never loads these Magenta parts from the mgu !!!!

Another oddity
When you drag the blue combi icon from the master to the track to generate all tracks it does not generate one for the master track itself. Not a problem as you would not normally want it. You can drag the solid green square to the tracks and it does play if you solo this master track in daw, to make sure the whole arrangement is coming from the master track problem is it is about twice speed.
And yes my tempo is the same in the daw and plugin and the bar count matches up
remembering that you have to add the count in and 4bar ending that I used
that is 42 in the daw for one 37 bar chorus (start bar1 end bar 37).

Any thoughts on these two
Mike
PLEASED TO SAY solved on both counts 614!!!!
The other parts (past green and blue) are not actually a part of the style selected. They are merely references to the green and blue parts in another style (but show up as magenta, etc, because of the reference). I'm not in front of my music computer right now, but as I recall, multistyles provided by PGMusic (versus those you created yourself) use the convention of a plus sign in front of the referenced style name. I can't remember exactly where to look, but I suspect if you open a style in stylemaker, you'll see which other style files are referenced for those other sub parts. So, while the elegant solution would be to directly support the C, D, E, F, etc parts in a multistyle, in the interim, I suppose you could look up what the referenced style is and generate parts from that style file.
Hi all
Any one got any thoughts on the master track tempo thing?

Thanks John It seems that I cant use any of my songs that use parts C D E F as those parts don’t even show up in the vsti window chord sheet.
On the pic below I have no bass, drums, guitar or strings as these instrument only exist in parts C magenta they should come for the last bars 38 to 47 as you can see the bars have come up with a green part maker. So therefore no instruments!

Pic 2 below shows the same chord sheet but in BIAB bars 38 to 47 magenta .
Here is a link to the MGU

Hi

Well no takers then, I feel like the invisible man here! frown
Cant believe I am the only person that might want to do these two things.
I realize that there are not many of these multi part styles about, but the tempo error on the dragged Master track is in all styles.

You are not alone Mike, I want to do that stuff to (at the very least, if I tried to do that stuff I would want it to work). Just not much any of us can do to make this work.

How about this are you using BIAB VSTi v6.14?

Other than that, which fixed some of my problem, I still have determined that the .sgu file in biab which you save, is not the same as the .sgu file which will get opened in the VSTi - see my other thread this morning.
