This post is for a friend that has RB & is not internet savvy.

He uses RB & Coyote WT.
When rendering the tracks (Audio/Merge DXi etc to wav file), only some of the notes actually play in the wav file. This occurs rendering multiple or a single track.
I'm stumped.
Any ideas?

Hi Mick.

Sometimes the selected MIDI DRIVER can make a difference. To render from a VSTi, or DXi, you don't actually need any output drivers selected, so that's the first thing to try. If that doesn't work, rharv has said, previously, that selecting the MS Wavetable synth has been known fix it. Neither of us know why!

Does the problem still occur when rendering a track to an audio track, instead of a wav file? That might be another way to go.

Hi ROG! Thanks for replying.
Rendering to a track provides all the notes.
Also when playing the midi, all notes sound...

edit...the asio driver is asio4all.

Mick - did you try the thing with the midi drivers yet? OPTIONS - MIDI DEVICES - de-select all drivers. If you've tried that and it doesn't make any difference, at least you can render to tracks and then merge the audio tracks as a work-around.

We had a similar problem to this , reported some time ago and eventually sorted it by a clean uninstall / re-install. Sometimes it's quicker than trying to work out what's causing the problem.
