Having come across in this Forum as a bit of a grump, who didn't read stuff properly, I now am the proud owner of Country RealTracks Vol I, which makes my moaning about BIAB Pro completely irrelevant. If, like me, you don't want to write in a range of styles, buying BIAB Pro plus the RealTracks you Really(!) want is a highly cost-effective way of tailoring this awesome program to your musical needs.

Yee-haa! Thank you, PG and your team.

Bugger, spoke too soon!

I received download links for the Country RealTracks vol 1 AND RealTracks 2,3,4,8,9,11,12,33,34,35-39, all of which are apparently also included in Country RealTracks vol 1.

Once I'd downloaded Country RealTracks vol 1, I checked Stylepicker and the new stuff was still N/A.

Do I have to download the individual RealTrack Sets, as well, and/or is there some dialogue I should follow, e.g. "Rebuild"?

Hello Adrian,

Yes, Country RealPAK vol 1 includes alot of RealTracks - download and install all of those sets. For a complete list of RealTracks instruments you have installed, visit the RealTracks Picker. To open the RealTracks Picker, control-click (or right-click) on one of the tracks at the top of the screen (bass, piano, drums guitar, etc.) and click on Choose RealTracks. Or use the RealTracks button in the top button toolbar. By default, the setting "Show RealTracks that are N/A" will be unchecked, and so this will show you all the instruments you have installed.

You should also have a number of .STY (Band-in-a-Box style) files that have been made using those RealTracks instruments. You can find them in the StylePicker (Style button on the left-hand side of the main Band-in-a-Box window).

The new RealTracks are listed at the bottom of the category list (RealTracks Sets 137 and up). These are included in the UltraPAK, EverythingPAK, and PlusPAK upgrades - none of those are in CountryPAK volume 1 which only includes RealTracks from sets up to #39.

By default, all styles that you have installed are listed in the StylePicker. Those that are missing one or more RealTracks or RealDrums (i.e. you don't happen to have them) show with an NA. You can use the filter to hide these if you wish - click the Filter button and set "Show styles with missing RealTracks" to No.

The MegaPAK version includes quite a few RealTracks (about 10GB worth) however it is true that this is only a small percentage of the total available, since our number of RealTracks is expanding so rapidly.

Thank you, Andrew.

I have to confess I still find it all a little confusing. Perhaps 2013 could shed a little clarity on the GUI and the upload process! Anyway, I'm downloading all the RealTracks and then I'll try and 'install' them. Not quite sure how!
