I just read on another music forum that the CC Cleaner anti-virus software contains a Russian Trojan. If you are using it, the poster said using Maleware Bytes will find it and remove it.

I don't have CC Cleaner and just passing the info along here.

Just spent a few hours putting acronis backup on computer, from a few months ago, rather than just doing the clean updated version of CCLeaner, though I am happy enough to update it as well, as its a useful program.

Where will this hacking end?

Yep and Avast released a new version yesterday with a guarantee it is not infected.
