Looking for your fortune chasing a star
are you finding what your needing out there so far

Every cloud has a silver lining
walk the roads paved with gold and diamonds
a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow
all the riches in the world
wont bring you love

Be careful what you wish for you might just get it
finding Aladdin's bottle don't let that genie out

Be careful what you hope for you might regret it
when you sign with the devils pen you trade your soul

Chasing fame and fortune you're the fortunate one
you have your dreams and desires your life has begun

Beware of the temptation if you let it
you'll live in a lavish palace all alone

Elliott,

Great song and really nice production. Sounds like a radio hit.

It has a hint of Sade in sound and feel. That is a very good thing.

Excellent!

Elliot, gorgeous tune! Great arrangement and mix throughout. LOVE the opening. We should all be lucky enough to be blessed with a significant other so wise...

Hi, Elliott.

Nice, easy-going pop, solid chorus.

I like this one a lot!

You might want to have another listen to the pronunciation of "temptation" - the /sh/ sounds a bit wonky.

Elliott, you are a master of the synth voices!
Great song, mix, and backing tracks.
Excellent song.

Thanks for pointing that out, I didn't hear it at first and went back and listened ... You're Right. I will correct it and repost a new mix.
Thanks

Good wife!! Thank her for us all. Really good write, Elliott. Man, I always like the way you sing, but these folks you form are perfect. An excellent production and mix. I like what Bob Dean said about Sade. Really nice how this song moves with such a good-time feeling. A very catchy chorus. Much enjoyed. Imagine what the rich guy thinks on his death bed; then imagine what the poor guy with a family thinks. This song tells us how to live then.

Hi Elliott,

Just saw you listened to my song, while you were on my list!
So thanks for that.
But about your song:
It's absolutely a lovely song! Your three AI women did a very good job!
Nice airy vocals and a catchy chorus.

Don't you think of singing along with them (or one)?
You also have a good voice. So it's worth a try...???
But as you might have guessed, I really enjoyed this song!

Beautiful.

Great use of real tracks and production.

Amen to what your wife said.

Fun, upbeat number, with a more serious message than may be perhaps perceived, prima faciae. Also, the writing seems simpler than it actually is ... it's not easy to write a song like this, and make it work - but that's what you did. Bravo.

Very cool and groovy and such a professional sound. Great lyrics too.

Hello Elliott,

It has a very pop melody and wonderful harmonies.
A nice chord progression firmly supports them.
I think the best BIAB style is used.
The Synth V's are also used very skillfully.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Elliott,

This checks all the boxes for Awesomeness. I am amazed how great the synth voices sound! Is there a tutorial on how to incorporate them into our mixes?

The cool light vibe reminiscent of some early Loggins and Messina
That is a great snare pop and the sax is excellent.

We enjoyed the nice open mix ... it sounds great on the Kalis.
Nice engaging write and good harmonies with the girls

Enjoyed it,
J&B
