YesterYear

You're sitting underneath a large oak tree over looking a slow moving river and reminiscing all of the good things that have happened in your past. Hopefully you can just sit back and relax.

I used BiaB style Visions1 - Dreamy New Age. However I deleted the drum track, changed the bass to cellos, and changed the guitar to carillon. I keep the strings but added harmonies and modified the lines to better fit the mood.

I am playing my tele guitar, my keyboard (Mellotron Flutes) and my wind controller (pan flute and trumpet).

Let me know what you think.

My vision was being in an Imax Theatre watching an eagle soar over western landscape. Lovely composition and performance.

Plus 1, plus 1, plus 1..

Incredibly sweet! I'm listening and looking out my recording room widow (13 feet high) into our forest and a zillion hummingbirds around the feeders....and your song is working well....real well. And, hey, if that's not enough...we just got in 30 minutes ago from a slow paddle on our local river. Too cool! Just called Janice to come in for a listen.

Hi Mario,

You've created a beautiful soundscape here!
Flutes and guitar are lovely. Could be a track for a movie.

Regards,
R & AM

Mario,

Spectacular! One of your best! You have that wind controller DOWN!

The delay on the guitar is sweet.

Gonna pass this on to my wife. It would be great for one of her meditation classes...

Bravo.

Very cool. Very mellow. All reflective sounds with an interesting chord progression. Good one Mario. Cheers.

Mario,

THAT IS INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL.

I was doing that yesterday except the river was in full flow, this tune would have been a wonderful backdrop.

As floyd wrote

Absolutely perfect!

Thanks for sharing

Mario, The opening was really beatlesque and progressed from there to a beautifully relaxing listen. Incredible work on the wind controller. The tele sounds just right. Excellent job all around. Very enjoyable. Tom

Mario,

Very, very nice! Like so much of what I have heard from you, this one could easily serve as the musical backdrop to a stunning video/movie. Very well done, my friend.

I'm glad that you like this Bud and I hope Janice likes it also.

We have hummingbird feeders and flowers that hummingbirds like but we have had very few hummingbirds this year. Weird weather up here!

Tommy, thanx for listening and the comments.

Actually this did start off as a Beatle Strawberry Field type song but as happens many times here BiaB took me in a different direction!

I almost replaced the tele with a mellower sounding guitar like a nylon string but I thought that I would post this and see what happens. Sometimes I can out guess myself!

Hi Mario,

that Mellotron brought back nice memories.
Great guitar and wind instruments.
An impressive soundscape.
