I personally prefer the clean guitar sound rather than 'embellishing'? it with unnatural distortion effects.
This is a good easy listen. The bass sits really well in the mix too.

You're right: maybe it's a little long. I have thought it too.
I reached (is it right in English?) the end of the song for having the part to fade out
a little long; I should have cut the previous part.
