The lyrics aren't mine, but I really like the theme of this song...

Nice amusing pleasant lyric set to a very easy on the ear tune.

Very nice work.

Good holiday fun, nicely sung!

Thanks for the comments! This is in _QUONDAM.STY. Except for a couple of 2-bar sections and a thinning of the instruments during the bridge's choir passage, it's just A and B sections played straight up. Had to Google Quondam (it's Latin!) but still don't know the connection with the music. Hmmm...

Great musical composition, arrangement, & mix...
With some creative lyrics from R.W. Davis...
And nicely sung by Dusty Hughes...
Congratulations to all of you for a good collaboration!

Very nice vocals and harmonies. Enjoyable bouncing rhythm.
Interesting lyrics, always nice to hear a new angle to Christmas songs.
Very good mix, all instruments clearly present.

Jim, Janne, Scott, THANK YOU for the listens and feedback!

Here are the very creative lyrics by R.W. Davis...

Snow Globe Santa
There’s a blizzard all around you
Snow Globe Santa
I hope they didn’t drowned you
Snow Globe Santa
I’m so glad that I found you

How are you doing in your circular prison?
Are you planning your escape?
You’re cradled safely among holiday boxes
With the wrapping paper and scotch tape
You’re frozen in time, unable to move
With glitter instead of snow
How does it feel trapped in a transparent ball
With a fake tree and mistletoe?

I’m barely awake in my colorful sweater
The falling snowflakes make the windowpanes wetter
I try the cupcakes but they all taste like cheddar
It’s time for a break but feels like a double-header
I give it a shake and the world seems so much better

Snow Globe Santa
There’s a blizzard all around you
Snow Globe Santa
I hope they didn’t drowned you
Snow Globe Santa
I’m so glad that I found you

How are you doing to see us all once a year?
Do you still remember us?
Our family gathers ‘round the fireplace
To celebrate each Christmas
You still look the same, a jolly smile
And a glow on both your cheeks
We’ll carefully put you back in the box
With the ornaments and wreaths

With sadness and regret, I’ll have to say goodbye
And hope to see you next year
If I listen closely I might hear you say
“SOMEONE LET ME OUTTA HERE!!!”

Snow Globe Santa
There’s a blizzard all around you
Snow Globe Santa
I hope they didn’t drowned you
Snow Globe Santa
I’m so glad that I found you

Nicely done - it definitely sets the Christmas mood, and your vocals are right on point too. Nicely done mixing job as well.

Thanks for sharing!

Deryk, THANK YOU for the feedback! Christmas is such a great time of year, but also a huge cliche. It was fun to craft a song around this different spin on the holidays. smile Ho! Ho! HO!
