I couldn't get the comments window to display the Realtracks in this song and I don't understand why...What do I need to do to make it work?

A New Day
By Horst Hartung 1976

A new day has begun, as the sun’s light shines in my eyes
As the flowers are swaying to the children who are playing
And the young sparrow, learns to fly

And the mothers, hold their sons
And the father, stands nearby
And the feeling is good, to share love as you should
And I thank God I’m alive

As the dreams carry us on, sunken hearts reach for the sky
Places you think of where there was so much love
A feeling come true and alive

And the mothers, hold their sons
And the father, stands nearby
And the feeling is good, to share love as you should
And I thank God I’m alive

There is a treasure for you to be found
Somewhere, awaiting us all

A new day has begun, as the sun’s light shines in my eyes
As the flowers are swaying to the children who are playing
And the young sparrow, learns to fly

And the mothers, hold their sons
And the father, stands nearby
And the feeling is good, to share love as you should
And I thank God I’m alive

I thank God I’m alive
I thank God I’m alive

You should be able to find the details in the Edit dropdown menu under Song Memo... Make sure the Summary checkbox is selected in the Memo window.

I enjoyed the listen - well sung and played, excellent mix. Sounded like something off an LP from back in the day.

David....There is no Song Memo... under the Edit dropdown. There's a Song Settings section but that doesn't have a Summary checkbox.

So I'm still confused....

Hi Horst,

This is terrific.

The introduction really grabbed hold of me and set the framework for an excellent musical journey. I love the minor key and the folk-like quality that it brings to the table. In addition, the 6/8 feel that you've created drives the music along in a very engaging fashion.

You're a fine singer and you won me over with the passion and emotion in your voice.

I really enjoyed listening.

Also... below is an image that explains what David mentioned.

Regards,
Noel

Is this in BIAB....cause I'm using RealBand 2020 and I don't have the song memo selection under Edit.

Yes, the above is BIAB.

In Realband there is a button called "Comment" that will give the same information for the BIAB tracks in Realband.

Noel

Sorry that you had problems with the execution... but it actually sounds really good. You have a very good vocal.

Thanks for sharing!

Nicely done, nicely sung. Very life affirming lyrics. I like how you can belt on the vocal, wish I could do that.

A pleasant sounding piece...
With uplifting lyrics
And strong pleasing vocal
To bring it all together...
I enjoyed listening.

High there,
New here just checking things out.
That's an interesting song.
I found the vocals particularly interesting, any insight on your technique?
