Here is a crack at Bluegrass . . . this one was took several takes to get half right but was a ton of fun to record.

For any music theory buffs out there, is there a description for what is going on at 2:00 when the piano comes back in? The first chord he plays seems a tad discordant to me. A little discordance is fine, I'm just curious if anybody else notices it and if it has a name or a concept.

The phrase is E - C#m - A - B

[Mario, I tried to use the Melodist on this song but it didn't sound good at all. Do you have an example of using the Melodist you can share? I also increased the length to 56 bars on this one]

Fun listen, even without a melody.

There's enough variety in the arrangement to keep it interesting.

I think that top note you're hearing is a D, so it appears to be playing an E7 chord (E,G#,B,D) instead of a plain E (E,G#,B) chord.

Could be D. It definatly happens on the Emajor cord.
Nonetheless, a little dissonance adds unexpected spice.
