If this is anything like the HD650 model, that's a steal! Almost too good to be true.

I can't speak on the HD6XX model, but I owned a pair of HD650's and they were fantastic.

Apparently the only difference between the HD6XX and the HD650 is the colour and the length of the cable, other than that they are identical.

I have the HD598 model here and I love them.

I've never tried the HD650s, are they significantly better than the HD598s?

I'd say all three (HD598, HD600, HD650) are all equally great. But I'd take the HD600 or HD650 over the HD598. But I think the HD598 has 90%+ the SQ. Then again, I'm sure that margin would increase if you brought the HD6** out of it's shell with proper amplification. But generally speaking, they are all good and I'd be happy with any of them
