It's not presently possible to do this. BIAB always needs to be regenerated after chords have been changed.
This is the Wishlist forum, though, and request is located in the correct forum. Who know what the future may bring!

Yes. I don't know how you could tell it you were finished adding notes to build the chord - maybe the default could be tapping the sustain pedal (MIDI CC 64)? And each subsequent tap would move to the next beat....
I thought you could do this already inside the "Chord Builder" dialogue (turns out I was wrong), but I like your idea of 'straight into the chord sheet' inputs.
