What are your favorite (most used) Ketron SD2 patches?
...the ones you couldn't live without.
...the ones that make you smile.
We SD2 users have bunches of patches to choose from. By posting your faves, you might save some of us costly audition time.

Depends on your genre.
I don't see the numbers often, but choose drawbar organ and look at the drop down menu of organs and spin the leslies etc...

Hi Ken,
My answer is one you aren't likely looking for, but I would have to say, "The patches that work well for the joba ta hand." are the best choices.
What I've done is learned how to quickly audition patches from the list inside the programs after properly installing the Patchmaps.
Once you do that with the patchmaps, you will find that the instruments are listed in groups as well as "in a row" willy-nilly and that makes a huge difference in sorting things out.
For example, if you need to find out which saxophone patch sounds best in a song, you will find that the patchmap has them also listed in a one group under Saxes. This narrows down the amount of patches you will have to sort through to just the Sax (or Piano, or Guitar, etc.) instruments available.
The reason I can't say that any one or sixteen patches are my "favorites" is that ALL of them sound really good but sometimes different groups of instruments sound a bit better when in combination in a particular song or setting -- so I have found that it is imperative to audition in order to find out. In my view your question is like an artist asking which color green to use for the leaves in a painting, when in actuality there are many different shades of green that are used to depict a lot of different lighting, shading and circumstance, so when it comes to this the time is well spent. Just learn how to minimize that critical patch audition time through practicing with it.
