Hi All, Here’s our latest song - this is called Ludlow Street. We also included a Music Visualizer. Shadows danced on my night stand Fell asleep in nowhere land Showed up on Thursday night But I lost that gig to a tribute band Took the train down to the east side Wore my shades just to hide my eyes Those brownstone girls swirled in my head And I drifted off and took the ride And it’s one more night One more night One more night on Ludlow Street And it’s one more night One more night One more night on Ludlow Street Ran into Jane somewhere in between She sells oils and wears too much green She said, “rock's a scam and jazz is dead” And then she kissed my cheek and split the scene And it’s one more night One more night One more night on Ludlow Street You play it straight You lose the beat One more night on Ludlow Street And it’s one more night One more night One more night on Ludlow Street BIAB Tracks: 3122: Bass, Acoustic, PopHalfNotes 120 2870: Piano, Acoustic, Rhythm 085 3912: Guitar, Nylon, Rhythm 085 3908: Guitar, Rhythm, Songwriter 085 Loop: Chillout/Chillout_145 RealDrums: MalletsSlow16ths Other Notes: Bob Mic: Logitech Blue Yeti Bob Vocals: Logic Pro Joliz Mic: Audio Technica AT2020USB+ Joliz Vocals: GarageBand Waves Vocal Rider - All Vocals Pre-Production: Track Editing GarageBand & Logic Pro Izotope Nectar 3 Elements for Vocals Izotope Plasma for Instrument Tracks Processing Final Track Mix & Master: Logic Pro As always - thanks for listening! Bob and Joliz, beautiful song (again)! I usually skip videos but glad I caught this one, as it supports the tune perfectly without being a distraction. Really nice band, crisp mix, great vocals. You've captured a memorable snapshot of a night in that unique neighborhood. Superbly well done!

I had the pleasure of listening to "Ludlow Street" by Bob featuring Joliz, and I must say, I was quite impressed. The song has a smooth, mellow vibe that instantly drew me in. The gentle guitar riff that starts the song sets the tone for the rest of the track, and the addition of the soft, soulful vocals of Joliz takes it to another level.
The lyrics of "Ludlow Street" are both relatable and poetic, painting a vivid picture of a moment in time and the emotions that come with it. The production is top-notch, with a clean, polished sound that allows every element of the song to shine.
One of the things that really stands out about "Ludlow Street" is the chemistry between Bob and Joliz. Their voices complement each other perfectly, and the harmonies are absolutely beautiful. The combination of their talents results in a track that is both soothing and emotionally impactful.
Overall, "Ludlow Street" is a standout track that showcases the talents of both Bob and Joliz. It's a must-listen for fans of R&B and soul music.
Izzy.

Really enjoying your collaborations with Joliz, she adds the icing on the cake. Nice video too, good concept.
One word summary: Excellent!

Superb, once more. The hook is incredible. Your singing is that classic voice we know by now, and could recognise from among a thousand. Joliz sounds more "classical", here (if that makes sense), over your more rugged voice. And the lyrics:
"Ran into Jane somewhere in between She sells oils and wears too much green She said, “rock's a scam and jazz is dead” And then she kissed my cheek and split the scene"
and
"You play it straight You lose the beat"
as well as the very first verse, which sets the whole song up.
SUPERB. I could listen to you two sing, for hours.
P.S. loved the video and its concept, too. Miniature masterpieces of art, your offerings. Unpretentious, but so, so beautiful ...

I couldn't spend one more night on Ludlow Street without you two. I met Jane, too, but she didn't kiss me. Man, I absolutely love your songs and the way you present them, Bob & Joliz.

Bob and Joliz, you had me at the first measure! Bob, your story telling is second to none - I could hear John Prine singing this one Great vocal and harmonies Loved it

I liked that. I've said it all before but man, your lyrics are really like watching a movie.

I love the way your songs always tell a story, but the story conjured is always more than in the lyrics. Also love how Joliz' vocals always 100% suit your material. The music on the video somehow sounds much better quality than on SoundCloud.
Way back in 74 when I was 23 I stayed with friends in a cottage right at the top of hill in rural Shropshire, the nearest town being Ludlow. So although it has nothing to do with your lyrics I was reminded of a beautiful event which scared the heck out of me! We were outside the cottage on a totally clear winter night and being right at the top of a hill I for the first time ever saw the vast array of the Milky Way. It was sooooooo beautiful - magnificent and sacred - I felt myself leaving my body as if I was about to fly up into the night sky to be one with it, but the thought of leaving my body suddenly scared me so much I literally had to race back inside the cottage so I couldn't see it anymore! It was like if I left my body I'd never come back! The arch-beautiful and sheer terror all in one go! I doubt I could ever write a song about it that had that much power!
Some favourite Waoist Adages: #1: Play on the Way. #13: Ask not for whom the flower blooms, it blooms for you. #58: Bring consciousness to it. #63: On the road to effortlessness, effort must be made. #92: Be Love Now, the rest will come on its own.
