Hi, I wrote/played lead/sang harmony with this personal BIAB style I created. This was a really fun project as I went to poetry school, so to speak, to write it. My timing is off a bit both vocally and lead guitar, but it is more of a scratch track as I test the waters.
Thanks for listening,
Donny G

Donny, outstanding playing and song
Great vocals
Outstanding lyrics
Great mix
I could hear John Prine singing this one
Loved it

Hi, Donny.

Nice work!

Where are the lead vocals from?

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

The lead vocal is from an A I and I am singing the harmony part, the low voice, obviously, lol. I import the vocal into BIAB and then make my own Styles. I haven't used the BIAB A I Agent yet. I am playing lead guitar along with an A I guitar, very cool.

Very excellent song all around. My only criticism is that you didn't need to add the harmony vocals as your lead voice is so good it doesn't need support. If anything was needed a female backing vocal would have worked.

Yea, that is how I do it busking, not needed. Thanks for listening. I may remove that track before I release the album.

Donny, nicely written tune! Hard to busk this one as presented though, right? The lead vocal sounds nice enough, but I much prefer your vocals. They speak to me in a gentle, world worn way. Just personal preference though. Super job here demonstrating the fusion of AI precision with human warmth. smile

Hi DC Ron, thank you very much, for recognizing the vision of using A.I. with my humanness. I usually sing the lead with the A.I. band and use its' harmonies, I also play lead guitar with the A.I. bands, the way I see it, this is the future. As you put it, sort of a fusion of the two.

WOW! AI fooled me. I love the guitar / backing tracks on this. Clean and beautiful. Beautiful Ballad. Congrats on getting a grip with the AI vocal. Worked great!

very very nice.

yup the AI vocs fooled me.
out of curiosity how loooong did the ai voc track take to build ?
i'm thinking of trying building ai backup female tracks for some songs.
i have various songs i would like to put femme vocs on as back up singers.

Thank you so much, yes taking on the task of playing with a i perfection can be daunting, the way I look at it, when you play with A I, you are the weakest part, so relax and play, put some humanness into it. I love my guitar, sort of a religious thingy to play note for note with a i. But remember the a i band never makes mistakes or doesn't show up to the busking performances, so it is a must do for me.

Really nice, well-written, and expertly produced. I esp liked how you set off the chorus with some add'l percussion. Nice little guitar riff/motif as well. Totally enjoyed it.
