with this realtrack, the key is Dm and the chord is F/C, yet the program displays and plays notes Db in the guitars, which make absolutely no sense and sounds terrible because of the clash of a minor second with other instruments.
I moved the Db to C in the notation, but that has no effect on the realtracks, and then when viewing the notation on the other tracks the chord as is displayed as F/Eb. Totally cuckoo notes. What the heck does C had to do with Db, or Db with Eb? The chord should be a simple F, with a C in the bass. Absolutely nothing more or less, and certainly no dumb notes like these. Screenshots attached.
PS. the 'simple arrangement' feature is still weak: the programs still plays major seconds (which are still better than the minor seconds mentioned above!) and ninths where simple major or minor triads are wanted. PG music seems to believe that 'simple' means no sevenths, when it should mean: play the damn chord I specify, no more and no less. Can we please have a damn option to - only play minor or major triads - ? Maybe that's easier!
A basic rule of arranging is that it makes no sense to have a busy accompaniment, otherwise there's nothing for the melody to do that is interesting. 'Busy' is a beginner fault, the belief that you have to do a ton of stuff for it to be good. In music, that doesn't work. Even in a jazz band, the more sparse are the chords, the better the soloist will sound, because he's filling in all these options.
PPS. the attachements feature here is annoying, I had to repeat the same operation to upload three screenshot, and the third one could not be uploaded, for no apparent reason.
I don't know. It all feels like a curse.
