Yes... there are certain tracks that go with certain versions.... so if in Band in a Box you get the missing tracks notification, you can still use that style, but that track that is missing will not be in the BB rendering.

HOWEVER.....

You can open that song project in REAL BAND, and from the list of real tracks available, easily render a similar part. It might even be better than what BB wanted to do earlier.

I usually render ALL my tracks in Real Band, and use BB simply to write/compose the music and select the style. The style you select in BB will be used in RB to play the music..... so the style is important.... use the style and then in RB pick the instruments you wish to use and render them.... listen to them and use them if you like with it does.
