I saw that in my NI email,
whooosh... that's the sound of my toilet sucking more money - just spent a small fortune on a AXE FX III (and wait listed of the $700 foot controller) and XMAS is approaching so EVERYONE (probably including PG) will be doing next version upgrades ,new add-ons (just in time) , etc.
the SMART vendors apparently like NI (that's a foot stomp PG) will reach out and try to get your money before the next guy in this holiday rush. Because, other than pro studios and some music folks who are maybe semi-pro but also tax savvy and take SW & HW as write-offs, usually have a fixed amount of disposable income especially at holiday time.
