Hello! I have been working on a song I am quite happy with. Recently closed BIAB to work in my DAW, and when I reopened BIAB to the same song file, the drum track had disappeared. Completely. All the other track components (piano, mandolin) etc are as before. Just no drums.

Two things to check: 1: Did you add the drums yourself, or were they part of an existing style?
2: If the song shows the Style that is used, can you reload that style and see if the drums are reinstated?

Hi--thanks for your reply. 1) I did not introduce anything. Drums were part of existing style. 2) I reloaded the style and the drums did not reappear--the track itself is missing from the instruments listing.
I suggest you highlight the third track down that has the solo guitar on it and then chose Real Drums from the menu and add back the appropriate RD.
Then if you want the solo guitar add it in an open utility track. Problem Solved. It will be hard to chase down why this happened, but it is relatively easy to fix.
