Here are a couple of tips: - In the notation window options, set the tranpose options preset to "concert - bass clef" (cello is a non transposing instrument notated on the bass clef). - In the print options window, deselect' autoset clefs', and only select bass clef - that will take fewer pages to print.

A market leading company and brand for decades where management failed to see or believe in the changes of the industry at that time even though a majority of the competition was." That would be a major bummer. I have a minor degree in photography, so watching Kodak melt away was very sad on a personal level. It is a great mystery to me, why steps are not being taken to at least tune up things that are already in place,

I didn't have time to look up the two units in question, but in general, make the connection in this order of priority: digital to digital (S/PDIF or optical TOSLINK) if available line out to line in only as a last resort, from the headphone jack or speaker out

Hello MusicStudent, you are right, there is a button that needs to be pressed to get the mixer in USB mode. I am pretty sure, that I had this pressed previously with out it working. A few days later, it worked as usual....hmm. Don´t ask me why. Must be my fault I guess. Attached a picture of the button, just for all to see. Thanks for hints and attention. Happy New Year to this marvelous forum members....! Cheers Stefan

Quote:What I am trying to achieve in a few specific bars (that contain the G7) is to kill the drums and guitars but let the 4062 or the 4328 piano ring out/play/hold the G7 chord untill the next bar in the song is played Thanks for the suggestions. Okay there are a variety of ways that you could accomplish this. Here is what I suggest: 1. Enter a rest (all instruments). This is G7 followed by a single dot. 2. Enter the G7 chord in the notation window as I described before using PRT notes

I use the _BEDTIME.STY style for some of my songs. It has a nice simple cello accompaniment track along with guitar, bass, drums, etc.. Can I print the notation for that cello track so I can give it to my cello partner for our duet?

Hi Gordon... thanks for the comeback. I'm pretty sure that now, after giving it a lot of thought and research that I won't have any trouble getting it hooked up. I'll be getting it tomorrow and will let you know how I make out.

Marty...I would say that you really tapped into BiaB in a terrific way...that solo fit the song so well...though it does seem strange not to hear Dave on one of your cuts...love the song and the track...great to hear an encouraging word...in mid-winter it's great to know that our "dark days are numbered"...thanks man!

Thanks, Jim. I will be looking into using that. This also suggests that there is already coding that should make a like function not that much of a reach to incorporate into the normal Chord Sheet workflow.

floyd...you remind me of a high-jumper...just when you think the bar's been set high enough you just keep raising it...this song is so well done in every way...I'm most impressed by how clean the track is...everything sits in it's place perfectly...the lyrics are incredible and tell the story in a engaging way...your vocals are spot-on...I always look forward to your posts...I'm a big fan!!

An interesting response! Me: Could a songwriter use the songwriting program “Band in a Box” together with ChatGPT to compose the lyrics? ChatGPT: Yes, it is possible for a songwriter to use Band-in-a-Box in conjunction with a language model like GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) to compose lyrics for a song. One way to do this would be to use Band-in-a-Box to create the musical accompaniment for the song, and then feed the chord progression and other musical information into a GPT
