Bob, a perfect example of how less is more can make a song. Super vocal, however some of the harmony FX I thought made it hard to hear the lyrics, but that is just my opinion and it didn't detract to much from this song. Great mix. Great work.

Strong in sentiment, vocals and production, i.e., EPIC! That is an excellent RT/RD band. The mix is superb and sets up an excellent soundstage on the monitors. It might help if you gave more detail. What is SO6.6? What kind of keyboard sound are you looking for? If it's a simple part, maybe you could enter it in step mode (seq) and use a softsynth for the sound you need? I don't mind contributing, but the description is pretty vague.

Matt, that is exactly what I was trying to remember. Thanks. A senior moment on my part I called it Additional song settings as that is its label in the second approach I gave above. Appears there exist at least 3 methods to get that Menu selection in the Mac Version. The two I posted and the one I forgot that Matt Reminded me of.

As mentioned above, I'm also not familiar with 'Additional Song Settings' for the Windows version. I normally use <Ctrl>N which opens up the Song Settings dialog. I'm not sure of the word "Additional" here because it does not appear in that menu on my 2024 version for Windows. I bring up the Song Settings dialog box by one click on the Settings wheel icon to the right of the number of choruses and repeats. Or, the hot key to get there is Ctrl+N. Is that it?

To me accessing the additional song Settings menu seems more cumbersone than previously. I use this sub menu a fair amount in my work. It seems buried deeper (or more keystrokes) than previously. Maybe my memory is failing. At present I know of 2 ways to get there. Command KEy +K then hit the more button or Edit (drop Down) .......Song Form (drop Down) ..............Additional Song Settings. Just wondering

Oh, yes, Dan, very differewnt for you, but I hear you in there so well. Excellent melody, and to my ears it sounds like you're doing a fine job manipulating those synths. Unrequited love maybe should be sad, but (maybe the best part is that) this one still has an uplifting feel to it. I had to give it a few spins, and on the last one I searched for that famous Simmons modulation. The song is so good, I wasn't disappointed. Check the sample rate settings of the two programs. Band-in-a-Box likes 44.1KHz while (I think) Cakewalk likes 48KHz.

A fever pitch for sure. What a terrific experiment with very intertaining results. A highly sucessful experiment. High temperature. Cool bass amd the whole picture you paint is full of musical asthetics. You even captured the sound of the reel to reel running out before the fade.
